Speculative Fiction Showcase Interview

“People tend to think of creativity and art as a beautiful, light pursuit, but art is often pain and trauma channeled, and there are so many things that can go wrong with that pursuit. We all love Starry Night and marvel of the brilliance of showing air turbulence in art but the cost of that beauty was Van Gogh’s sanity.”

When I spoke to Jessica Rydill, I was excited to receive her questions, but when I got them I was blown away by how deep she had me digging. I loved doing this interview about MUSE, the business and pitfalls of being a creative, and how weird and wonderful art can be, among many other things.

Check it out over at Speculative Fiction Showcase.

And As for the release party I mention, it is still in the planning stages. I’m hoping we’ll have something lined up for early May.

And Muse had a great opening day, but for some reason Amazon is holding onto reviews for a long time before posting. If you’ve read the book, please consider posting a review to help, and if you haven’t order a copy yet, get an ebook today! They’re just 3.99!
