Creepy. Growing up, there was a house we had that everyone said was haunted. Dad called the ghost “Jezebel”, and it seemed to only like the men of the house. I never encountered it, but my brother said he felt as if someone was rubbing his back, like a mother would do, when he was alone studying. My step-mom had some not-so-nice encounters. Laundry she had just folded was strewn about when she would leave the room and come back. Beds she just made had the covers thrown on the floor, etc. Nothing malicious or harming, but not very productive, either. ๐Ÿ™‚

lol, jerk ghost. When my husband and I moved into our house, I got the impression that a previous occupant didn’t approve of me as a wife. My husband would hear someone calling him “honey” when I wasn’t home and I got the sense I was being picked on a bit.

just tell the ghost that they better be nice or you’ll write something really terrible about them in your next story. ๐Ÿ™‚

I used to see ghosts of dogs running past me along our passageway as a child. They would disappear into the broom cupboard. My bed would move and shake, and my five year old self would dive under the covers until it stopped. Imprints of a body in my bed would appear if I wasn’t there. Years later Mum found out that the previous owner had hanged himself in my bedroom!

Yes, and I still remember it clearly. My bedroom was always freezing cold too.
