I have found my people. A week after getting home, I am finally recovered enough to share some of my pictures from the weekend in Stamford Ct. My editorial partner, River Eno, and I went non-stop all weekend with new and old friends, amazing panels and late night ghost hunts around the hotel.
Some highlights included my reading with Meg Ripley and Katherine Silvia, the Horror as Therapy Panel my friend Nicole M. Wolverton was on, and meeting the other LC in horror, author and publisher, L.C. Marino.
The awards were amazing and Spec Pub Alum, Carol Gyzander won, as well as future Spec Pub contributor, Gwendolyn Kiste. Being surrounded by the authors who’s books moved and terrified me was such an experience and I am sure I will be back next year in Pittsburgh.
If you’re a horror fan, author, artist or editor, I would 100% recommend you get there too.
